Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring efficiency and accuracy regarding inventory, paperwork, shipping and receiving documents, dock doors, orders, etc.
Additional responsibilities will be assigned based on business needs.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Sign driver in and out of the facility; verifying all paperwork.
Assign dock doors to the inbound and outbound loads.
Maintain door accuracy and yard report for trailer inventory.
Ensure and maintain accurate product inventory levels.
Process Bills of Lading and associated shipping and receiving documents.
Reconcile inbounds with packing slips and coordinate drop lot activity.
Prepare and process billing for accessorial charges.
Release inbound/outbound orders in the company's WMS.
Provide a strong level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Report errors and/ or issues to appropriate members of leadership to ensure accuracy.
Maintain accurate paperwork and file/sort paperwork accordingly.
Performs all duties in a safe and timely manner.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
Associates degree in related field preferred.
Basic math and reading skills necessary.
PC Experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Previous warehouse management systems (WMS) experience preferred.
Previous experience in a warehouse and/or dispatch environment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
